The evolving programming language
Due Credit:
Java has evolved over the years into one of the most powerful programming languages that have been used. Being a technology grad myself, I am growing more and more out of phase with this ever evolving technology(largely because I have entered into the other side of computers and servers viz, management). I happened to handle a java application server recently and I was amazed by the way the technology differed from the original stuff I studied during college days. It surely takes an expert group to take care of a complex application server that is used for running java.
Apache Tomcat and other faces of Java server are improving in capabilities and efficiency over time. Other than Spring which was incorporated into Java technology, there have been several improvements in the overall application of the technology like Rich Internet Application which has already found a good deal of popularity in the market and enterprise integration. The specific application server I came across was a one that was managed by the Spring Source group which has a good team of experts to manage the application building process. Sure, it takes expert hands to build, test and deliver high-end technology that is driving most business applications nowadays.
