SGH-P930, Samsung's new Mobile TV phone

Due Credit: Samsung,Seoul Korea
We have seen many kind of mobile solution in past few years. Not to mention a lot of rumors too, like- Nokia N97 rumor (Finally which I found to be a hoax). No matter what you can not just ignore the mobile world, its changing in lightening speed. Samsung announced (November 22, 2006) that they are introducing a new mobile TV phone to the Italian market this month through Telecom Italia. Since it's almost end of the month, so expect it within one week swarming Italian market (rest of the Europe will follow maybe in next few months). They name this exceptional model, SGH-P930.

This SGH-P930 mobile TV phone combines not only the latest mobile TV technology, but it also combines HSDPA technology which enables high-speed data transmission. Previously Samsung has provided model: SGH-P920 to Telecom Italia since May 2006, which happens to be a mobile TV phone too. Samsung's newest model, the P930, adopts horizontal LCD screen for optimal mobile TV watching and supports stereo speaker for best sound quality. SGH-P930 has wide 2.3 inch (240x320) LCD and supports Picture in Picture (PIP) function to watch two TV channels simultaneously (they will share the screen equally). Did I say there is a 2 megapixel camera for high-quality photo shooting and a VGA camera (for video recording too) for convenient video phoning. It also supports a microSD (which is believed to be the fastest memory in the world) external memory slot for better storage.

Samsung`s new Mobile TV technology will debut in Germany and across the Europe sooner then February 2007, looks like Italy will get the first test for Mobile TV. Samsung already make a demonstration of MediaFLO mobile TV technology at "CTIA Wireless 2006" in the U.S. market, so I won`t be surprise if next mobile TV came out in US market. Oceania has to wait probably till March, 2007 to see this amazing innovation. So far these are the official configuration released by Samsung---

Kams,

Whatever people need seems to be far removed from what they want.

And, with the young, the more, the better.

So do we really need mobile phones?

I won't have one, I maintain the next generation will be born with one attached to the end of an arm, like an extra hand.

One thing I'd like is for the younger generation to be programmed with a sense of humour.

That way they could take perecived criticism on board and not let it impact on their overly sensitive natures.

Heaven is starting to look decidedly peaceful, at least until the next generation arrive, when the dear Lord might be expected to provide electronic harps, with wireless, we don't want too many leads tripping people up and letting them fall down? to hell.

This has been an interesting experience for me and good for your votes, Kam.

Till we meet again,

katyzzz

No people really don't need to watch video on mobile. But Mobile companies are trying to replace desktop, thats why they are trying to everything in it. But nonetheless as i have passion for tech, i always like new innovation.
