Ps3 comes out with glitches

A lot of we were waiting for Sony’s miracle product PS3 (well that’s what they advertised). Ask those Japanese consumers who fall in line hours after hours to get the PS3 on the first release, they can explain better how high hope they hold for PS3. But ops! Some glitches came up in PS3 soon after it’s first release.

Long Line for PS3

According o Sonny’s campaign for PS3, The PS3 was supposed to be "backwards compatible", meaning it should run games written for PlayStation and PlayStation 2. But a lot of older titles (not that old just few months back) that runs quite fine in PS2 is not either working properly or not working at all. Some titles having Audio problem, some having serious graphics issue (cluttered all over the screen). The game like Gran Turismo and Final Fantasy series are having serious issues, which are known to be very popular among the gamers.

Sony’s responded and admitted that this problem has been noticed and they are offering a fix via online upgrades for consoles. Playstation 3 Firmware 1.10 Released [PS3.QJ] for that purpose.

Question is how consumers will react when they will see their high hopes and dreams for PS3 is falling apart like this?

Wow, this is incidental for making a futuristic machine (by leaving the past behind) but still a monumental hiccup given the titles of games that are experiencing glitches..

I expected the PS3 to flop somewhat, but what I wasn't expecting was the people in the line. Apparently, the line for the PS3 in Japan was full not of Japanese, but of poor Chinese hired by Japanese businessmen to buy the PS3 so that the businessmen could sell them on Ebay. Let's just say, confusion ensued.

Sony manages to slip off the expected flop. It didn't make that much buzz! but you can't consider it flop.
